Sola Sobowale, who once graced screens with her presence in the late ’90s and early ’20s through notable works like the drama series “Super Story” and the movie “Diamond Ring,” opened up to Teju Babyface on the “Deep Dive Podcast” about her prolonged absence from the acting scene. During her time away, she relocated to the United Kingdom, where she took up caregiving roles to support her family.
Despite being away from Nigeria since 2003, Sobowale’s passion for acting never waned. Her children played a significant role in encouraging her to pursue her true calling once again. They consistently reminded her of her talent and urged her to return to acting.
In a poignant return to the Nigerian entertainment scene, Sobowale made a notable comeback in 2016, auditioning for the acclaimed movie “The Wedding Party” upon her return to Nigeria
