December is set to be a lively month at the cinemas with film producer and actress Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi unveiling the much-anticipated return of the comedy series “Alakada.” The latest installment, titled “Alakada! Bad and Boujee,” is scheduled for its premiere in December.
“Alakada! Bad and Boujee” marks the fifth installment in the beloved “Alakada” film series, following the original “Alakada” in 2009, “Alakada 2” in 2013, “Alakada Reloaded” in 2017, and “Fate of Alakada: The Party Planner” in 2020.
The series revolves around the character Yetunde (played by Toyin Abraham), a young girl hailing from a humble background who struggles with feelings of inferiority. To fit in with her peers, Yetunde weaves elaborate tales and fabricates stories about her social and financial status.
