Fast rising Nollywood actress, Olabisi Adeyemi has produced three movies for the year 2019. She is inspired by Funke Akindele Bello and continued to hone her career. We discussed about her personality and career journey in this chat.
OfficialUniqueBlog: Tell us about you?
Olabisi Adeyemi: My name is Olabisi Adeyemi from Ilesha, Ilesha East local government area, Osun state. I’m the last child in my family. I hold OND and HND certificates in Banking and Finance from the Osun state Polythecnic, Iree.
OfficialUniqueBlog: How did you started acting ?
Olabisi Adeyemi: After my OND in 2007/2008 , I came to Lagos, Ajao Estate precisely to learn acting at PEFTI school. After my course at PEFTI, I enrolled with Goriola Hassan theatre group and I started from there.
OfficialUniqueBlog: Have you produced any movie yet?
Olabisi Adeyemi: Yes, I have produced three movies so far in this year. Ilu (Drum) directed by Okiki Afolayan and Madam Saje’s son Adio Azeez. My second movie is Eni ibi packaged by Olumide Salami, a direction of Samson Kogberegbe. The 3rd one that i just concluded shooting in Ibadan is Iyawo Mi Oro Mi (My wife, My Wealth) directed by kayode Adebayo(kay Alubarika).
OfficialUniqueBlog: Which movies have you featured in?
Olabisi Adeyemi: I have featured in numerous movies. A lot of my friends from school and the people that know me always call to say they saw me in one or two movies. Some people met me sometimes, they told me they saw me on TV. I have featured in super story while I was still schooling in Pefti; I featured in papa Ajasco. I have featured in a TV. series titled the bridge, it is an English series.
I have featured in movies such as Dark Night, Domestic Maid, Till Death, Baby Mama, Alaparu, Painful Act, sucker, Lasisi Alapoka and many more

Olabisi Adeyemi: I see my self leading in both Yoruba and the English sectors of the industry.
OfficialUniqueBlog: Which actors and producers do you really look forward to work with soon?
Olabisi Adeyemi: They are many but I will mention a few of them. Funke Akindeke Bello, Toyin Abraham, Desmond Elliot Bimbo Oshin, Ricardo Agbor, lilan Esoro, Akin Lewis, Jaye Kuti, Remi Surutu and a host of others

Olabisi Adeyemi: My first time on a movie set, I was nervous.
OfficialUniqueBlog: Who inspires you?
Olabisi Adeyemi: I am inspired by Funke Akindele Bello.
OfficialUniqueBlog: Which projects are you working on currently?
Olabisi Adeyemi: I will be working on The Company. It is a 26 episode TV series. By God’s grace, it is a huge project and will start shooting by next year.
OfficialUniqueBlog: What do you think about yourself as an actor today?
Olabisi Adeyemi: What I think about my self is to be me and not compete with anybody. I am building my brand and career to better my life and the people around me.
Also, I don’t care about people talking down on me saying I can’t do i. I am going to prove them wrong because I enjoy what I do and with God on my side, I will surely get there. I might not be perfect today but sure there is no perfect person anywhere. We all keep learning everyday and I believe nobody knows it all.
