Tobi Amusan triumphs in 60m hurdles at Lievin meet, France.

Yet another triumph for 26-year-old Nigerian athlete Tobi Amusan, who clinched victory in the women’s 60m hurdles at the Lievin Meeting in France. With a time of 7.83 seconds, she outpaced Laeticia Bapte of France, who secured second place with 7.97 seconds, while Sarah Lavin of Ireland trailed in third at 7.98 seconds.

Adding to her string of successes, just last week on January 5th, Tobi Amusan shattered the African women’s indoor record in the 60-meter hurdles, clocking in at 7.75 seconds during the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston. This remarkable achievement surpassed the previous record of 7.77 seconds set in Kazakhstan at the Astana Indoor Meet in January.
