Barinada Marvellous, a junior secondary school student, was reportedly expelled from a school in Epe, Lagos because her bag had a sticker of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi. The school gave her an exeat note, and the note, allegedly signed by the school principal, stated that she was sent home “to campaign for Peter Obi against the wish of Lagosians.
The situation has caused outrage, with people who claim to be familiar with the situation taking to Twitter to express their displeasure.
