OLAITAN Olutola Amos: Event planning is a profession that requires patience, organizational skills, self confidence and hard work. In addition to creativity and energy.
OfficialUniqueBlog: How do you handle clients who demand for more on a low budget?
OLAITAN Olutola Amos: Depending on the offer they are expecting because sometime the budget might be very low but just to satisfy our client and make them happy, we tend to work with their budget but if it’s on a higher side we will explain to the client and make them understand why the budget wouldn’t work for what they have in mind and I will simply change the demand to a cheaper but classy one.
OfficialUniqueBlog: What is your watchword for the business and in extension to clients?
OLAITAN Olutola Amos: Customer’s satisfaction our priority 🤞😊
OfficialUniqueBlog: Do you consider yourself successful enough in this field?
OLAITAN Olutola Amos: Yes I do
OfficialUniqueBlog: How would you measure your growth over the years?
OLAITAN Olutola Amos: Hmmmmm. I just started. Although we are a year already all thanks to God. It’s really not been easy trying to bring down a lot of cost so people can patronize you, doing a lot of free jobs just to show case your skills and make them understand you can do it perfectly. It’s really not been easy but “good things doesn’t come easy”, it has to be one step at a time but thank God we are moving forward and I must confess it has really been a great experience.
OfficialUniqueBlog: What is your favorite part of the job?
OLAITAN Olutola Amos: The coordinating aspect. It’s really not easy but it’s always fun, when I try to coordinate all your vendors at the same time, making sure everything is In place, to make it easy they are always at alert to receive signals from me. Coordination is really stressful, but fun.
OfficialUniqueBlog: How much capital is enough for someone to start out as an event planner?
OLAITAN Olutola Amos: You can start up with No capital. Will use myself as an example, when I made up my mind to join the event world, I started up with nothing. Most of my aspiring client will ask for my office and will be so shy to tell them “I work from home” because some gets discouraged why some try to trust but with time, everything fell in place.
OfficialUniqueBlog: What are your future plans for the business?
OLAITAN Olutola Amos: Future plans for my business is to enlarge the brand of the business and make liciasconceptevent a well known Event company😊
