See Photos of Leading Lights at #AFRIFF2018 Opening Night
The 2018 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) started with an opening yesterday night, November 11th with Sew the Water into My Skin a film By Jahmil X.T Qubeka as the opening film.
The festival which will continue till 17th of November, had many leading lights to grace the occasion.
According to the website, this year’s programme is is a visual exploration of the portrayal of women in cinema that raises discussions on a central question: ‘What is Woman?’ Some of the selected films were made by female directors and/or about Women as central characters or protagonists.
